The Workforce Training Fund Program (WTFP) provides Massachusetts businesses with the resources needed to invest in workforce development, improve employee skills, and maintain the economic strength and viability of the Commonwealth's businesses.
Types of WTFP Grants:
  1. General Program Training Grants: grants of up to $250,000 for any size business' customized incumbent worker training needs
  2. General Program Technical Assistance Grant: planning grants of up to $10,000 for any size business
  3. Express Program Training Grants: grants of up to $30,000 for businesses with up to 100 employees for training courses chosen from a database of pre-qualified courses
  4. Regional Training Capacity Pilot Program: pilot program funded by the Workforce Training Fund targeted for small businesses to provide their employees with training in areas such as process improvement, supervisory/leadership, ESOL, manufacturing skills, and computer skills
  5. Hiring Incentive Training Grants: Notification - after November 30, 2014 the HITG Program will No Longer Accept Applications. Learn more
