ECCLI Cape Cod Healthcare Case Study (2005)
This case study describes a unique partnership between several long-term care (LTC) facilities, two technical schools, a local union chapter and a local workforce investment board to address a shortage of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) on Cape Cod and the Islands in Massachusetts. The shortage of nurses presented a critical problem to healthcare facilities all over the Cape, bringing a group of committed and concerned organizations to the table. The result of the partners’ efforts was a true community-wide partnership that increased the LPN capacity and LPN educational opportunities on Cape Cod, offering hope for a long-term solution to a significant problem.
The YouthWorks 2011 Databook provides an overview of program administration, profiles of young people in job placements and data profiles for each of the workforce investment areas that receive YouthWorks funding.
Massachusetts 2009 Summer Youth Employment Report
This report documents the Summer Youth Employment Program that operated in Massachusetts during the Summer of 2009. We offer this Report not only to document the 2009 program, but to help inform program operations in future summer periods.
