We are excited to announce the launch of the Massachusetts Advancing Pathways for International Talent (MAP-IT) Initiative, a new statewide grant initiative funded through the Workforce Investment Trust Fund.
This funding opportunity is designed to help internationally trained professionals (ITPs) who are authorized to work in the United States secure employment aligned with their prior education and professional experience. Funded programs will deliver coordinated career navigation, credentialing support, employer engagement, and partnership-driven services for ITPs across Massachusetts, with an emphasis on geographic diversity and responsiveness to regional labor market needs.
This initiative represents a new investment by the Healey-Driscoll Administration to address persistent staffing shortages while enhancing employers’ and workforce systems’ ability to recognize, value, and leverage international talent in Massachusetts.
