拉森工具冲压公司, a supplier of precision metal stamping parts and components in Attleboro, Mass., has received $171,500 from the state’s Workforce Training Fund to train 61 workers, and it expects to create five additional jobs by 2021.
The company will focus on lean and leadership coursework for the grant over the next two years. The training began in late 2019 with Lean Yellow Belt training and moved on to standard work and pull/flow. Current training is focusing on waste elimination and problem-solving.
