SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
October 28, 2024: Over the past few years, we have seen unprecedented levels of participation in Workforce Training Fund Programs (WTFP), and as a result, Commonwealth Corporation is implementing policy changes with the goal of extending WTFP grant resources while efficiently serving more businesses.
Additionally, WTFP’s General Program will undergo application updates which will require a scheduled blackout from November 15, 2024, at 5:00 PM to December 17, 2024. Learn more here.

The Workforce Training Fund Program helps address business productivity and competitiveness by providing resources to Massachusetts businesses to fund training for current and newly hired employees. In order for the Massachusetts economy to prosper, our businesses need access to a pipeline of skilled workers so they can stay competitive and continue to grow.

The General Program supports 马萨诸塞州 employers of any size with resources to fund larger-scale, customized, and strategic training to upskill or reskill employees. Applicants work with training vendors of their choice to deliver a training plan that supplements their workforce needs but does not replace traditional workplace training investments. 这 purpose of the General Program is to increase company productivity, competitiveness, and ability to do business in Massachusetts by investing in the skills of your workforce.
General Program Bridge Grant
The General Program ESOL Bridge Grant is designed to provide English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) to continue through the 1 year waiting period for the General Program grant. You are eligible to apply for the General Program ESOL Bridge Grant if your organization has recently completed or will complete a General Program grant supporting English language learners in your workforce.
Technical Assistance Grant
On a very limited basis, the Workforce Training Fund Program may provide technical assistance grants to increase training opportunities to employees.
