Commonwealth Corporation (CommCorp), a quasi-nonprofit under the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development (EOLWD), is actively seeking partnerships to enhance workforce outcomes for Massachusetts youth placed at risk through the YouthWorks program.

YouthWorks, a state-funded youth employment program, plays a critical role in equipping teens and young adults with the necessary skills and experience for their career journeys. In the 2024-2025 programming cycle, the program is actively encouraging new partnerships and innovative programming through a competitive procurement process.

As YouthWorks emphasizes increased opportunities for participants, the goal is to broaden hands-on experiences in high-demand jobs and expand the network of worksites. The program is committed to providing essential resources to support regions with the greatest needs. In this competitive process, programs have the chance to submit proposals that outline their region’s needs and strategically plan for the growth of regional programming. This includes addressing resource gaps for at-risk youth and young adults.

CommCorp anticipates awarding $19.9 Million in total funding across the state. This Request For Proposals (RFP) is available via commcorp.org/funding or by visiting the link below.

Questions regarding this RFP should be submitted in writing to [email protected]. The deadline to submit questions is February 20, 2024. Applications will be accepted through March 25, 2024.
