HYANNIS – A series of free regional employer informational meetings hosted by Cape Cod Community College’s Center for Corporate and Professional Education kicks off next week in Hyannis. The three meetings will focus on Management Training, Apprenticeships, and Workforce Training Fund programs. The first meeting is Tuesday, April 30 at noon at the college’s Hyannis Center on Main Street. This meeting will focus on grant-funded management and leadership training opportunities.

The second meeting is May 7 at 8:30 a.m. in Orleans at the Old Firehouse Gallery and Community Center on Main Street. This meeting will focus on Massachusetts Apprenticeship Programs, Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Programs and important regional policy updates. This event is hosted by MassHire Cape and Islands Workforce Board and will include representatives from Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, Division of Apprenticeship Standards and Commonwealth Corporation. The final meeting is also on May 7 in Wareham at Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank at 1:30 p.m. on Rosebrook Place. The last program will provide information about the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund to employers. Information about the General Program Grant, Express Grant, and the Small Business Direct Access Grant programs will be provided by representatives from Commonwealth Corporation and Cape Cod Community College.
