Change happens. Express helps.
Change happens. We live in a time of constant flux and uncertainty, affecting virtually everyone and everything. New technologies and new opportunities emerge and compel businesses to adapt to keep up with changing conditions. Now, more than ever, employers need to invest in their workers to equip them with the skills they need to thrive in a transforming world.
That’s Where We Come In.
The Express Program is designed to help businesses respond quickly to change and keep employees engaged. With bite-size grants for just-in-time training and no waiting periods between grants, Express is our fastest path to funding, enhanced with an even more flexible directory of training options and 6 quick steps to success:
*”COGS” stands for Certificate of Good Standing from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue (DOR). All COGS should have the business’s legal name and a Notice Date within 6 months from the date of application submission.Click here to get yours. DO NOT pay for or obtain a Certificate of Good Standing from the Secretary of the Commonwealth as it will not be accepted.
**Certificates of Compliance can be obtained through the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance (DUA) Unemployment Services for Employers portal. Click here to learn how to get yours. All Certificates must show the business’s full legal name and FEIN, must explicitly verify their Workforce Training Fund contributions, and must not be expired on the date of application submission.
Available Funding
Only businesses with 100 Massachusetts employees or fewer are eligible for reimbursement for the cost of training, up to $15,000 per calendar year, and according to the following rules:
Businesses with 100 or fewer Massachusetts employees may receive up to 100% reimbursement for an approved course, if the course is within $300 per instructional hour, and $3000 per person course. Any training costs exceeding these limits are the responsibility of the grant recipient.
