Employment Programs for Young Adults with Disabilities

Individuals with disabilities have one of the highest barriers to employment among underrepresented groups in the workforce. The Employment Program for Young Adults with Disabilities Program is designed to counter those barriers by providing employment opportunities for those individuals.

Commonwealth Corporation is seeking applications from partnerships led by a community-based organization with demonstrated success in preparing young adults with disabilities for employment and providing support once the individuals are placed in a position to promote retention. Another characteristic that is being looked for is a history of partnerships with employers that have the proven ability to place and retain individuals in the workforce.
