Train and Upskill Current Workforce

Are you an employer looking to train your current workforce? You’re in luck! These programs are designed to help employers train their incumbent workers and build skills. Commonwealth Corporation will help you stay competitive in the workforce by increasing your workforce’s skillset by offering opportunities for training in topics such as Management Trainings, Data Entry, Customer Service Training, Sales Training, Excel Basics.

Workforce Training Fund Express Program

The Express Program provides employers fast, simple access to grant-funded training, helping businesses in Massachusetts respond to emerging needs. It is designed to help businesses respond quickly to change and keep employees engaged.

Workforce Training Fund General Program

Via General Program Training Grants, Businesses can apply for a grant up to $250,000. Employers, employer organizations, labor organizations, training providers, and consortia of such entities are encouraged to apply for funds to train current and newly hired workers.

Digital Innovation and Lifelong Learning

The Digital Innovation and Lifelong Learning (DILL) program provided funding to three partnerships led by education providers partnered with local healthcare employers.

Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Program

This program focuses on developing real-world skill competence to prepare students for their future in the workforce. Southern New Hampshire University’s College for America curriculum uses a blend of academic content, soft skill development, and specific core competencies that employers are seeking.
